The first scenario we're practicing for the October Exploder tournament is Power Pack. This scenario pretty different than others you've played before, so make sure to read the rules.
Each player's deployment zone is different than any other scenario. Instead of deploying across from each other in a long strip, your deployment zone takes the form of two rectangles, one in each corner of your side of the board. This means your forces will start off likely divided from each other, so consider units like G:Servant to spread the area which your Doctors and Engineers can cover.
There are three Antennas down the center of the board, plus two consoles, ones in the middle of each players table half. Your objectives are to ACTIVATE more antennas than the opponent, and to CONTROL the ENEMY console. You cannot have more than two antennas activated at any time, and you get bonus points for having your DataTracker controlling the opponent's console. You do have the ability to CONNECT the enemy console, which does not give you any points, but if you don't connect to the enemy console by the end of the game, they will score an extra point.
Finally, keep in mind that the middle 16" strip of the table is a SATURATION ZONE, so B1 weapons like missile launchers are ideal, as are very high burst weapons which won't be affected as much by the penalty. Linked teams performing ARO through the saturation zone are going to lose their extra burst, so be careful with defensive links.
