The final scenario review for our March Démarche ITS! Show of Force is a brutal fight over a single objective, with a bonus for bringing a TAG!
Deployment is fairly straight forward, each player has the standard 12" deployment zones along each side, and there is no exclusion zone, so bring those Infiltrators! Something which you can't tell from the deployment map though is that all TAGs gain the Forward Deployment rule, allowing them to set up 16" from your table edge.
There are two Panoplies, in addition to the Transmission Antenna, by passing a WIP roll, your model may roll on the Booty L1 or L2 charts. Something fun to keep in mind is that your TAGs which are starting further up the board, are welcome to loot these, who knows, you could end up with a brutal +4 ARM on your Avatar... I'll let you stew on that for a while.
There are surprisingly few objectives in this scenario, and no Classified Objectives. Controlling the Antenna at the end of the game is worth 2 points, and an additional 3 if you control it with a TAG. Not all factions get TAGs, so if you fall in that camp, you can even the score by focusing on killing the enemy TAG if present. This will keep the maximum score of the scenario to 7, and make controlling the Transmission Antenna far less of a priority. The other 5 points come from killing more Army Points (2 points), and killing the Enemy DataTracker (3 points). Keep the enemy DataTracker in mind, a lot of people may be tempted to make their TAG the DataTracker, which means killing it can cause a 6-point swing in your favor. Killing the DataTracker is worth just as many points as scoring the Antenna with a TAG.
If you can keep your own DataTracker safe, and do not have a TAG, you should focus on winning by killing enemy Army Points and the enemy DataTracker, let the opponent feel like they're winning while sacrificing the other objectives in the process. If there is no TAG on the board, and you kill more enemy points and their DataTracker, you can win 5-2.
